The Saskatchewan Roughriders have officially signed American defensive back Jalon Edwards-Cooper.
The five-foot-eleven, 175-pound cover man recorded 79 defensive tackles and three interceptions over 30 career CFL games as a member of the B.C. Lions.
The team created an opening at cornerback earlier this off-season when they released veteran Nic Marshall following his arrest in Georgia.
The Riders will open their 2024 regular season on Saturday, June 8 when they visit the Edmonton Elks at Commonwealth Stadium.
