The Montreal Alouettes have agreed to terms with American receiver Tevin Jones and, barring anything unforeseen, he’s expected to sign a one-year deal with the team, per sources.

The six-foot-two, 225-pound target caught 65 passes for 882 yards and three touchdowns this past season as a member of the Saskatchewan Roughriders. He initially joined the team in 2021 but was released prior to the start of training camp to sign with the Jacksonville Jaguars.

The 31-year-old native of Amory, Miss. rejoined the Riders in 2022 and dressed for 31 games over two seasons with the club, making 85 catches for 1,147 yards and six touchdowns.
