The Winnipeg Blue Bombers have signed Canadian receiver Drew Wolitarsky to a two-year extension that will keep him with the team through 2025.
Originally chosen in the 2017 CFL Supplemental Draft, the six-foot-two, 224-pound target had a career year in 2023. He posted 47 receptions for 668 yards and six touchdowns in 18 games, while also suiting up for the Western Final and Grey Cup.
In six CFL seasons, all with the Bombers, Wolitarsky has amassed 194 receptions for 2,551 yards and 17 career touchdowns in 86 games.
Born and raised in California, Wolitarsky was granted Canadian citizenship through his Montreal-born mother. Prior to arriving in the CFL, he played collegiately at the University of Minnesota, notching 130 catches for 1,749 yards and nine touchdowns in 47 games as a Golden Gopher.
Winnipeg will open their 2024 season on Thursday, June 6 when they host the Montreal Alouettes.
