The B.C. Lions have signed kick returner Terry Williams to a two-year contract extension through 2025. He was set to become a free agent in February.

The five-foot-nine, 170-pound speedster returned 57 kickoffs for a league-leading 1,315 yards in 2023 along with 74 punt returns for 878 yards and six missed field goal returns for 239 yards and one touchdown. He also finished second league-wide with 2,443 combined yards behind only Tyreik McAllister of the Hamilton Tiger-Cats.

The 27-year-old originally broke into the CFL as a member of the Ottawa Redblacks in 2021. In September 2022, the Lions acquired him via trade in exchange for a third-round pick in the 2023 CFL Draft and a conditional pick in the 2024 CFL Draft.
