The Toronto Argonauts have signed American receiver Xavier Malone.
The 23-year-old went unselected in the 2023 NFL Draft but signed with the Atlanta Falcons shortly thereafter. He played one regular season game with the team this season, though he didn’t register any statistics.
The five-foot-nine, 180-pound target caught 135 passes for 2,352 yards and 18 touchdowns over two collegiate seasons at Henderson State University. He was named second-team All-Conference in 2021 and first-team All-Conference in 2022.
Malone ran a 4.36-second forty-yard dash at his pro day.
