Elks sign former Alouettes’ OL Patrick Davis

The Edmonton Elks have signed Canadian offensive lineman Patrick Davis for the 2024 season.

Originally selected in the fourth round of the 2021 CFL Draft, Davis has spent three seasons with the Montreal Alouettes before being released in October, primarily serving as the club’s sixth offensive lineman. In 24 career appearances, the six-foot-five, 312-pound native of Gatineau made two starts, including one in 2023.

Prior to jumping to the CFL, Davis played four seasons at Syracuse, dressing for 25 games without a start.

The Elks are scheduled to begin their 2024 campaign on Saturday, June 8 at 7:00 p.m. ET when they host the Saskatchewan Roughriders.
