Grey Cup Best Bet: Blue Bombers (+155 or better)

The Blue Bombers sandwiched back-to-back Grey Cup titles around the cancelled 2020 season, and Winnipeg fell just short last November in a 24-23 loss to the Argos.

Many of the same players remain on this year’s squad, and the Bombers looked like a team on a mission all season while compiling a 14-4 record and a +217 point differential.

Zach Collaros is the key to the Bombers’ championship hopes after racking up a career-high 4,252 passing yards. However, running back Brady Oliveira is arguably nearly as important, considering he compiled 2,022 total yards and 13 touchdowns in 2023.

Ultimately, Winnipeg has as talented a roster as any squad in the six-team postseason field, including Toronto. As such, I’m rolling with them as my top Grey Cup futures pick.

Grey Cup Value Bet: Lions (+700 or better)

If you’re looking for an underdog bet, the Lions are certainly a team to consider. B.C. admittedly underachieved at times this season, including in its perplexing 41-16 home loss in Week 20 against the Stampeders with the West Division still within their grasp.

However, with Vernon Adams Jr. at quarterback, a talented versatile back in Taquan Mizzell, and a deep group of pass catchers, B.C. can certainly compete with any team in the postseason field.
