The Hamilton Tiger-Cats could have one of the CFL’s best blockers back in the lineup for their Labour Day clash with the Toronto Argonauts.

Left tackle Joel Figueroa is eyeing a return after missing the last eight games with a foot injury. The 33-year-old is listed as a game-time decision for Monday but was a full participant in practice on Saturday.

Figueroa joined the Ticats in free agency following a five-year stint with the B.C. Lions this past off-season. He is the league’s fourth-highest-paid offensive lineman.

Kendrick Sartor, who has started six games in Figueroa’s absence has been tentatively returned to the practice roster. Jordan Murray, who re-signed with the team on Saturday following a year-long NFL stint, will be a healthy scratch.

On the defensive side of the ball, linebacker Kyle Wilson (ankle) has been placed on the six-game injured list. In 10 games, he has collected 11 defensive tackles and four special teams tackles to go along with one forced fumble. Newcomer Chris Kolarevic will draw into the lineup for the first time to fill the depth role.

Receiver Duke Williams remains on the roster but continues to be a game-time decision as he battles a chest injury. He has 34 receptions for 490 yards and a touchdown this season.

The Ticats (4-6) will host the Argonauts (8-1) on Monday, September 4 at 3:30 p.m. EDT. Toronto has won the two previous meetings between the clubs this season and is looking to claim a second straight Labour Day Classic victory.
