The Toronto Argonauts have signed Canadian defensive back Jamie Harry to the practice roster.

Harry began the 2023 season with the Edmonton Elks but was cut during training camp. The native of Lachine, Que. originally joined the club after being released by the B.C. Lions in late July, going on to start seven of the nine games he played at cornerback — five on the field side and two on the boundary side.

The 28-year-old was originally a fifth-round pick of the Argonauts in the 2019 CFL Draft out of the University of Ottawa but failed to make the team during his first training camp. He has made 27 career tackles over 22 games as a member of the Elks and Lions.
