The B.C. Lions have signed American running back JaQuan Hardy to the practice roster.

The five-foot-eight, 225-pound ball-carrier went unselected in the 2021 NFL Draft but signed with the Dallas Cowboys. He initially earned a spot on the practice roster but was activated for three games, recording four carries for 29 yards and one touchdown.

Hardy signed a reserve/future contract to return to the Cowboys in 2022 but was waived by the team shortly before training camp. He signed with the Denver Broncos the following month but was released at the conclusion of training camp.
