Canadian DL Dylan Ainsworth re-signs with Riders

Canadian defensive lineman Dylan Ainsworth has signed a one-year contract with the Saskatchewan Roughriders, per Canadian Football League sources.

Ainsworth was drafted by the Riders in the second round, 11^th overall in the 2014 CFL Draft. In two seasons with Saskatchewan he’s played in 35 games and racked up 30 special teams tackles.

The Western Ontario product has become a key contributor on special teams for the Riders and developed into a rotational player at defensive end. He was the No. 3 rated Canadian special teams player on 3DownNation’s position-specific rankings.
