Former CFL QB Kevin Glenn hired as head coach at University Liggett School

Former CFL quarterback Kevin Glenn has been hired as the new head coach at University Liggett School.

The 43-year-old played 18 seasons in the CFL (2001-18) where he was famously a member of all nine teams. He completed 63.2 percent of his passes for 52,867 yards, 294 touchdowns, and 207 interceptions over 304 career games.

Glenn was named an East Division all-star in 2007 as well as the East Division’s Most Outstanding Player. He was also presented with the Tom Pate Memorial Award in 2011, which is given annually by the CFL Players’ Association (CFLPA) to a member who makes a significant contribution to his team, community, and the CFLPA.

The five-foot-ten, 203-pound passer dressed for 92 games with Winnipeg, 57 games with Saskatchewan, 54 games with Hamilton, 36 games with Calgary, 18 games with B.C., 13 games with Montreal, and 18 games with Edmonton.

University Liggett School is located in Grosse Pointe Woods, Mich., which is a northeast suburb of Detroit. Glenn spent the past three years as an assistant coach at Detroit Catholic Central High School.
