The Ottawa Redblacks have re-signed American defensive back Sherrod Baltimore for the 2023 season.

The 30-year-old cornerback has spent all five seasons of his CFL career in the nation’s capital. In 13 games last season, he recorded 22 defensive tackles and eight pass knockdowns — the fifth-highest total in the league.

Since arriving in Ottawa in 2017, Baltimore has amassed 136 total tackles, two interceptions, and a forced fumble in 60 games. He was named the team’s Most Outstanding Rookie in his first season out of the University of Maine.
