The Winnipeg Blue Bombers have signed Canadian defensive back Charles-Antoine Beaulieu, the team announced announced on Wednesday.
The six-foot-one, 192-pound defender went unselected in the 2022 CFL Draft and returned to the Université de Laval for his final year of U Sports eligibility. He won the second Vanier Cup of his collegiate career as a member of the Rouge et Or.
The native of Quebec City dressed for five regular season games this past year and made 14 tackles, one sack, and two fumble recoveries. He was named the RSEQ Defensive Player of the Week on two occasions last year and once named the RSEQ Special Teams Player of the Week.
