The Toronto Argonauts have signed American defensive back Devin Hafford, the club announced on Tuesday.

The six-foot-one, 210-pound defender signed with the New England Patriots after going unselected in the 2022 NFL Draft. He was released by the team shortly after but rejoined them briefly during training camp.

The 24-year-old spent six seasons at Tarleton State from 2016 to 2021 where he recorded 243 total tackles, 11.5 tackles for loss, 57 knockdowns, 12 interceptions, one forced fumble, and four fumble recoveries over 56 career games.
