The Hamilton Tiger-Cats have signed American defensive lineman McKinley Williams.

The 6-4, 285-pound native of Miramar, Fla. played 61 games at Syracuse University and made 122 total tackles, 21 tackles for loss, four quarterback sacks, and one fumble recovery. He won the Duffy Daugherty Award in 2021 as awarded to the team’s “player’s player and the coach’s coach.”

The 24-year-old went unselected in the 2022 NFL Draft but signed with the Indianapolis Colts shortly thereafter. He was waived by the team in June.
