The Saskatchewan Roughriders have signed free agent American defensive lineman Weston Kramer.
The six-foot-two, 290-pound interior defender spent four seasons at Northern Illinois University (2017-20) where he made 97 tackles, 12.5 tackles for loss, 3.5 sacks, and two knockdowns over 45 games. He was named second-team All-MAC in 2020 and third-team All-MAC in 2019.
The native of Naperville, Ill. transferred to the University of Indiana in 2021 and recorded 35 tackles, five tackles for loss, two sacks, and one fumble recovery.
Kramer was in training camp with the Ottawa Redblacks this year but was released following its conclusion.
