The Edmonton Elks have signed American receiver Lucky Jackson.

The Western Kentucky product made 209 catches for 2,680 yards and 13 touchdowns over 51 games with the Hilltoppers, including 94 receptions for 1,133 yards and four touchdowns as a senior in 2019. He signed with the Winnipeg Blue Bombers in April 2022 but was released following the completion of training camp.

The Elks also released American defensive lineman Nick Coe. The six-foot-five, 285-pound Auburn product dressed for two games with the club but did not register a statistic. He joined the practice roster with the Saskatchewan Roughriders last year but did not dress for any regular season games and was released in June 2022.

The Elks (3-10) are scheduled to visit the Saskatchewan Roughriders (6-7) on Friday with kickoff slated for 9:30 p.m. EDT. A loss would officially eliminate Edmonton from postseason contention.
