The Calgary Stampeders have ruled out star rookie strong-side linebacker Titus Wall from Thursday’s game against the Winnipeg Blue Bombers due to a foot injury.

The 23-year-old has started all nine games this season at strong-side linebacker and recorded 37 defensive tackles, two special teams tackles, three interceptions, two sacks, and two forced fumbles. He leads the team in interceptions and ranks second in tackles behind weak-side linebacker Cameron Judge.

The Stampeders also ruled out rookie Canadian receiver Jalen Philpot due to a shoulder injury, while running back Ka’Deem Carey was a full participant in practice after missing three games due to a hamstring injury.
