Winnipeg Blue Bombers’ receiver Greg Ellingson is officially set to return to the team’s starting lineup after missing three games due to a hip injury.

The 33-year-old was the league’s leader in receptions and receiving yards when the injury took place, recording 34 catches for 518 yards and three touchdowns in six games. His best performance came in Week 6 against the Calgary Stampeders when he caught 11 passes for 152 yards.

The veteran receiver joined the Blue Bombers as a free agent in February following a two-year stint with the Edmonton Elks during which he recorded 133 receptions for 1,857 yards and six touchdowns over 26 games. He was named a CFL all-star in 2017 as a member of the Ottawa Redblacks.
