The Montreal Alouettes have activated Canadian linebacker Chris Ackie from the team’s six-game injured list.

The former first-round pick recorded seven defensive tackles at weak-side linebacker over the first two games of the season. He has missed the past five games due to an ankle injury with Brian Harelimana, Tyrell Richards, and Tyrice Beverette taking turns replacing him in the starting lineup.

Ackie is in his seventh CFL season and has recorded 209 defensive tackles, 24 special teams tackles, eight sacks, four interceptions, four forced fumbles, and one touchdown over 81 career games.
