The Edmonton Elks have moved veteran linebacker Deon Lacey to the one-game injured list. He was not listed on the team’s injury report on Tuesday.

The six-foot-two, 230-pound defender has dressed for two games this season and started at middle linebacker in Week 3, recording ten defensive tackles and one special teams tackle.

Edmonton made a number of other transactions, moving American defensive back Jeawon Taylor and American defensive lineman Ben Davis to the active roster. Taylor was with the team during training camp, while David joined the practice roster last week.

The Elks also added American running back Sherman Badie and American receiver Aaron Dilworth to the practice roster.

Badie made his CFL debut last weekend in Edmonton’s 30-23 loss to the Calgary Stampeders on June 25, though he did not record an offensive statistic.

Dilworth played in the Arena Football Association in 2021 and recorded a league-leading 15 touchdowns as a rookie, helping the West Texas Warbirds to an undefeated season.

The Elks are scheduled to visit the Hamilton Tiger-Cats on Friday night with kickoff set for 7:30 p.m. ET.
