Ticats add former CFP National Champion, offensive lineman Korren Kirven

The Hamilton Tiger-Cats have signed American offensive lineman Korren Kirven.

A converted defensive tackle, Kirven played 26 games in five seasons at the University of Alabama and started six contests at right guard as a senior. The six-foot-five, 320-pound native of Lynchburg, Virginia was a member of the Crimson Tide’s 2015 College Football National Championship winning team as a junior.

The 27-year-old has since spent time in the National Football League on the practice roster of the Dallas Cowboys (2018), Carolina Panthers (2018), New York Jets (2017-18), Cleveland Browns (2017) and Tampa Bay Buccaneers (2017), as well as in the XFL with the St. Louis BattleHawks (2020).
