An update from Ticats practice

Day one of Ticats practice – Monday was an extra day – and a number of the players who sat out earlier in the week are back including receivers Bakari Grant and Andy Fantuz. Linebacker Simoni Lawrence is out here, too, but is doing limited work. Defensive tackle Ted Laurent isn’t practicing at all (and that would be a big loss both literally and figuratively.)

Defensive end Eric Norwood has been added to the active roster from the six-game injured list with running back Michael Ford moving to the practice roster to make room. Running back C.J. Gable is practicing again today and I would expect him to start with Canadian Anthony Woodson, who is also returning from injury, as the back up. That would give the Ticats some options with their American designated imports.

Receiver Luke Tasker made a great catch while running with the scout team. He’s getting closer…

Angelo Mosca, who is pictured above, was at practice today. He’s looking and sounding good. “These guys need to start effin’ playing.”
