Ka’Deem Carey headlines Calgary Stampeders’ potential free agent list

The Calgary Stampeders were eliminated from the 2021 CFL postseason with a 33-30 loss to the Saskatchewan Roughriders in the West Semi-Final.

The team got off to a poor start this year, compiling a 2-5 record by the midway point of the season. The club bounced back in the second half of their schedule to finish 8-6, though a first-round exit from the playoffs has dampened optimism in Cowtown.

Below is the list of players who are set to become free agents in February 2022. Please note that “N” denotes nationals (ie. Canadians), “A” denotes Americans, and “G” denotes Globals.

Some notable players finished the regular season on the practice, which means they are currently free agents. Among them are linebacker Brad Cowan, defensive lineman Chris Odom, offensive lineman D.J. Coker, and receiver Nick Holley.
