Ticats activate rising Canadian DL Mason Bennett from six-game injured list

The Hamilton Tiger-Cats announced Canadian DE Mason Bennett has been added to the active roster from the six-game injured list.

The former first-round pick has registered 2 sacks and 9 tackles in 8 games in his rookie year for the Tabbies.

He has been out of the lineup since October 2nd against Montreal.

Bennett was selected by the Ticats eight overall in the 2020 CFL Draft. The Winnipeg, Manitoba, native was limited to just 10 games in 2019 due to injury, but still managed to lead the Fighting Hawks in sacks with 5.5 and five quarterback hurries while finishing tied for second on the team in tackles for loss at 6.5.
