The Toronto Argonauts have signed national defensive back Dondre Wright.
Wright was selected by Montreal in the third round, 20th overall during the 2017 CFL Draft. He played 27 games for the Alouettes making 45 defensive tackles, 14 special teams tackles and forced one fumble.
He played three games for Winnipeg in 2019, recording three tackles and one special teams tackle. The Ajax, ON native was on the practice roster when the Blue Bombers won the 107th Grey Cup.
The 27-year-old has starting experience and can provide depth on special teams for the Argos.
