Bo Levi Mitchell has been pulled from the Calgary’s Week 9 matchup with the Saskatchewan Roughriders after suffering an apparent upper body injury late in the fourth quarter.
Mitchell absorbed a shot from Riders’ defensive lineman earlier in the frame which caused the ball to come out wobbly. Backup Jake Maier trotted on to the field for the next series to lead a field goal drive with 3:30 remaining, extending the Stamps lead to 23-14.
Mitchell, who had already been pulled for performance issues once since returning from an early season leg fracture, was 16-of-25 for 184 yards, two touchdowns and an interception prior to the injury.
This story will be updated as more information becomes available.
