Ticats defensive tackle Adrian Robinson has died.
The 25-year-old from Harrisburg, Pennsylvania passed away Saturday night. According to the Philadelphia Medical Examiner’s Office, Robinson committed suicide. Initial reports from gossip site TMZ that he was killed in a shooting were false.

Robinson, who played his college football at Temple, was signed by the Ticats as a free agent on April 27 and participated in the team’s mini-camp last month. He was expected to attend training camp at the end of May.
He leaves behind a young daughter, Avery Marie.
“Our thoughts and prayers are with the Robinson family at this time,” Hamilton head coach Kent Austin said in a statement.
