Ticats’ owner Bob Young buys beer for all season ticket holders before Labour Day Classic

The Hamilton Tiger-Cats are holding their home-opener on Monday and team owner Bob Young is helping his season ticker holders celebrate.

Young, who affectionately refers to himself as the “Caretaker,” had cards made up allowing each season ticket holder to enjoy one free beer ahead of Monday’s Labour Day Classic. If there’s one thing better than an ice-cold beer, it’s free ice-cold beer.

The Ticats haven’t hosted a football game since the 2019 East Final, opening the 2021 season with three consecutive games on the road. Tim Hortons Field will be rocking this afternoon when the Argos come to visit, partly in thanks to the early lubrication provided by the Caretaker himself.

This initiative is so generous that we’ll even forgive Young for misspelling the word “original.” We here at 3DownNation know a thing or two about typos, so we’ll cut him and the Ticats some slack.

Enjoy the Labour Day Classic, Tiger Town! You deserve a great game after such a long wait.
