The province of British Columbia is introducing a new policy that will limit large-scale events to those who are vaccinated against COVID-19.

As of Sept. 13, only individuals who have received a minimum of one dose of the vaccine will be permitted to attend indoor ticketed sporting events, restaurants, casinos, fitness centres, and other large indoor events. The policy will change on Oct. 24, when only those who have been fully-vaccinated for seven days or more will be eligible for participation.

The Calgary Stampeders, Ottawa Redblacks, and Hamilton Tiger-Cats announced similar policies on Monday, leaving Edmonton and Saskatchewan as the only remaining CFL teams to permit unvaccinated individuals to attend games.
