Mike Miller recorded his 191st career special teams tackle on Saturday against the Toronto Argonauts, breaking the previous record of 190 held by Jason Arakgi.

The native of Riverview, N.B. moved past Blue Bombers’ team president Wade Miller into second place on the CFL’s all-time special teams tackles list in 2019. He only needed three games in 2021 to record six more, becoming No. 1 all-time.

Miller tied a single-game CFL record with seven special teams tackles in a win over Ottawa in July 2019. That record is shared by seven players, including former Bomber Brendan Rogers, who first set the record in 1994.
