The B.C. Lions will not hit the practice field on Wednesday due to poor air quality.
The team is holding training camp in Kamloops, which is in the same region as a number of ongoing wildfires.
Campbell told the media two weeks ago that nearby wildfires were “a factor” in training camp but the air quality had been “really good” for practice sessions up to that point.
The Lions are scheduled to return to the practice field on Thursday from 8:30 to 10:45 a.m. PT at which time they will hold a scrimmage.
