We’re all finding ways to pass the time during the COVID-19 pandemic and Chris Tymofichuk spent part of Thursday morning recording a birthday greeting for a friend.
Tymofichuk can be seen surrounded by an impressive collection of Blue Bomber memorabilia, including signed photos, jerseys, a Grey Cup hat and sign, and (hilariously) blue and gold Lysol wipes.

The birthday wish was addressed to Laura Stewart, a well-known Tiger-Cats fan on twitter. Chris delivers a brilliant deadpan performance in the video, suggesting Stewart read the Grey Cup editions of the Winnipeg Free Press or Winnipeg Sun while sipping from a Blue Bombers mug.
In case you’ve forgotten, the Winnipeg Blue Bombers upset the Hamilton Tiger-Cats in the 2019 Grey Cup by a score of 33-12.
Fortunately, Stewart is a good sport and expressed her appreciation for the birthday wish. In these challenging times, it’s uplifting to see CFL superfans engaging in fun and original ways on social media.
I’d almost be mad if this wasn’t the best #CFL birthday troll of all time. Also, the Lysol is a nice touch 😂. https://t.co/pquQeJidvh
