Some Bomber fans seem to be a little salty at Henoc Muamba’s determination to get paid what he’s worth.
Winnipeg general manager Kyle Walters said Tuesday that the team would not pay Muamba more than reigning Most Oustanding Canadian Andrew Harris but blue and gold faithful were already riding Muamba for trying to get top dollar.

Muamba responded politely on Tuesday morning.

Former teammates offensive lineman Steve Morley and receiver Terrence Edwards weighed in.
I bet Wade tries to make as much money as he can in whatever profession he’s in. So, why is it a problem when a professional athletes do the same?? We don’t have very much time to make and much money as we can doing what we love to do. So Henoc, keep making that 💴.

Players don’t begrudge other players for wanting to maximize their value for the reason Edwards laid out: pro careers are short for many athletes. Muamba seems to have appreciated the support.
