Collaros was acquired by the Riders earlier in January for a second-round pick in the 2018 CFL draft. The 29-year-old was due to make $540,000 this coming season. Since trading for Collaros the green and white have been in discussions to redo the deal.
In 59 career CFL games with the Argos (2012-13) and Ticats (2014-17), Collaros has accumulated 1,127 pass completions on 1,694 attempts (66.5%) for 13,759 yards, 83 touchdowns and 38 interceptions and a 24-27 win-loss record with one Grey Cup appearance as a starter.
