Cross another name off the roulette wheel that is theĀ Montreal Alouettes head coaching job.
According to Omar Kelly, the Miami Dolphins beat writer and columnist for the South Florida Sun-Sentinel, running backs coach Danny Barrett won’t be the man in Montreal.

The 56-year-old Barrett has plenty of CFL experience both as a player and a coach. He spent 16 years at quarterback with four different teams and was the head coach of the Saskatchewan Roughriders from 2000 to 2006 before spending the better part of a decade with U.S. college teams. The joined the Dolphins in 2016.
For those keeping track, DeVone Claybrooks, Mark Washington, Tommy Condell, Marcel Bellefeuille, Rich Stubler and now Barrett are now out of the running. We think.
