Four-time CFL all-star defensive lineman Almondo Sewell is not fond of Riders quarterback Brandon Bridge and his supposed “backyard” football style.
“Brandon Bridge is not a thrower. He’s just going to scramble around and try to make up backyard plays down the field,” Sewell told TSN during the Eskimos-Riders game in Week 20.
The disrespect carried on to Twitter.
I don’t have respect for trash players take it how you want to take it

Sewell reiterated his point about Bridge’s playing style.
Like I said sandlot playbook haha

Then Saskatchewan’s pivot responded.
Ain’t no different on this side. You don’t mess with me I don’t mess with you. You’re weak as hell and I make you look stupid out there

That’s a strong comeback from the up-and-coming signal caller, but getting on the wrong side of Sewell, who checks in at six-foot-four, 288 pounds, would be a bad decision by Bridge.
