The last week of the regular season features some juicy playoff storylines.
In the West Division, the Winnipeg Blue Bombers need a road win over the Calgary Stampeders on Friday night to secure their first home playoff date since 2011. They can also get there if Edmonton Eskimos lose their game against Saskatchewan Roughriders at Mosaic Stadium on Saturday.
Meanwhile, the Eskimos can secure second in the West Division and a home playoff date with a win and a Winnipeg loss. That scenario will see the Saskatchewan Roughriders crossover and play in the Eastern Semi-Final against either Ottawa or Toronto.
If the Riders win, they clinch third in the West and would play Winnipeg in the Western Semi-Final at Investors Group Field with Edmonton crossing over into the East.
Meanwhile, the Toronto Argonauts can clinch first in the East Division and a first-round bye with a win over B.C. on Saturday night. A loss by the Argos gives the Ottawa Redblacks first in the East and means Toronto will host either Edmonton or Saskatchewan.
The Stamps have locked up first in the West.
All six playoff berths have been determined with Calgary, Winnipeg, Edmonton, Saskatchewan, Toronto and Ottawa having secured post-season spots. Friday night’s game between Hamilton and Montreal will have no bearing on playoff position or draft order with the Alouettes having already locked up the first overall pick.
