Uh oh.
Both Winnipeg Blue Bombers quarterback Matt Nichols and all-star Canadian safety Taylor Loffler have left Saturday’s game against the B.C. Lions with injuries.
Nichols hurt his calf on a non-contact play in the first quarter and was replaced by Dominique Davis.
Matt Nichols is favouring his left calf. He's limping visibly on #Bombers sidelines. Tried drop backs and grimaces #CFL

Loffler went down early in the second after making a tackle.
The Bombers, who are still trying to secure second in the West and lock up a playoff date, have been hit by a spate of injuries. Linebacker Moe Leggett is done for the season while top receiver Darvin Adams and could return for the playoffs.
Just in case you're wondering what it's like to be #Bombers fan, their No. 1 QB just injured his leg throwing football w/out being touched.

UPDATE: Loffler came back. Nichols didn’t and Winnipeg head coach Mike O’Shea updated his quarterback’s status after the game.
#Bombers HC Mike O'Shea on Matt Nichols injury: "Lower-body,I think he'll be fine." But added it was too early to tell if he plays vs Stamps
