Vernon Adams Jr. was seen receiving treatment to his right arm multiple times during the first half.
Adams Jr. got the start on Friday night in place of an injured Antonio Pipkin. He completed 10-of-16 pass attempts for 109 yards and one interception in the first half.
Shiltz, 26, has thrown for 579 yards, two touchdowns, and seven interceptions through two seasons with Montreal.
The Alouettes currently trail the Tiger-Cats 23-3 in the third quarter at Tim Hortons Field.
