Stampeders receiver Eric Rogers out for Week 5 against Ottawa
Calgary receiver Eric Rogers won’t play in the nation’s capital on Thursday.
The Stampeders leading pass catcher, 201 yards and three touchdowns in three games all Calgary wins, was not on the team’s depth chart, second-year receiver Reggie Begelton is listed in his place.
And according to Stamps beat man Danny Austin, it’s Rogers’ surgically repaired knee that’s keeping him from playing.
Knee acting up for Rogers, Wilson will be back next week. Orimolade is likely just a ratio thing.

Rogers tore his ACL early in training camp with the San Francisco 49ers in August 2016 and the team placed him on injured reserve for the season.
Rogers spent more than a year recovering and rehabbing the first major injury he’s suffered in his pro career. He was cleared to return to football activities by Dr. James Andrews who performed the surgery.
