Riders great Don Narcisse diagnosed with cancer

One of the greatest Riders of all time is going to fight cancer with the same intensity he used when playing football.

Don Narcisse made the announced on Twitter and Facebook.

#ridernation On Friday I was Diagnosed with Stage 1 Prostate Cancer. They caught it real early which is a good thing. On Sunday my brothers ,sisters and GrandKids showed up to my house to lift me up. My Sister Pamela Forsander had Pancreatic Cancer 17yrs ago and she gave me one of the Best Motivational Speech Ever  She said I have inspired so many people so make sure I don’t keep this a SECRET. And to use my platform to bring Awareness to Cancer. So for the next few months I will be fighting this DEMON. Watch how God Walk me through this Journey. I would love for you to send me a message. Narcisse played 216 games for Saskatchewan making 919 catches for 12,366 yards and 75 touchdowns. He was a four-time CFL all-star and won a Grey Cup with the Riders in 1989.

The Hall of Famer is beloved by green and white fans and they reacted with an outpouring of support.
