Harris has played 13 games for the Raiders this season, making five tackles after coming back from a torn ACL he suffered last year. He played four games for the New Orleans Saints in 2016 before getting hurt.
He was recently on the Pro Bowl ballot as a special teamer.
Thank you to all the family, friends, and fans that took the time to vote for me for the pro bowl. Didn’t get selected but I’m highly grateful to even be on ballot after my injury last year and journey to this league. Congrats to all those selected ✊🏽
The 27-year-old played in 45 regular season games over three seasons with the Ticats, making 79 defensive tackles and another 27 on special teams. He also caught a touchdown pass. He stays in touch with a number of former teammates and coaches via social media.
Harris will spend Christmas playing Monday Night Football in Philadelphia against the Eagles. Sounds like the game made for some easy Christmas shopping…
