Canadians teamed up for the top specials teams play of Week 19 and for their efforts, two nationals share the top spot in our weekly instalment of the best non-import performers.
1. Derek Jones, defensive back, and Michael Miller, fullback, Winnipeg Blue Bombers
Winnipeg’s special teams duo teamed up to produce a touchdown. Jones blocked a Ty Long punt and Miller scooped it up and took it back for a touchdown, just like it was drawn up. Plus Jones had two defensive tackles, one on special teams and a sack while Miller added one special teams tackle.

2. Antoine Pruneau, linebacker, Ottawa Redblacks
The free safety racked up a season-high eight tackles in Ottawa’s dramatic win over Hamilton which kept the Redblacks chances for an East Division regular season title alive. Pruneau produced his best season as a pro.
3. Junior Luke, defensive lineman, B.C. Lions
The 25-year-old defender notched his first career multi-tackle game with two tackles and added a one sack too. A standout showing in B.C.’s upset victory over Winnipeg.
