Ottawa’s star Canadian pass catcher Brad Sinopoli won’t play in Week 19 against Hamilton and he’ll be out for the season, according to TSN Radio’s A.J. Jakubec.

“Brad’s going to be a no-go, so he’s not going to go this week,” head coach Rick Campbell said on TSN Radio 1200 in Ottawa earlier Monday.
“It was much more than we expected. He actually in practice, we were practising out in Saskatoon and he had a non-contact, he just kind of felt something, so it really was precautionary…He was thinking he’d be good to go, and then it’s a little more of an issue than he thought. So he’s still getting looked at, getting evaluated and we’ll see where that all goes. But he definitely will not be playing this week.
“Possibly [miss playoff time]. It’s much more of a setback than we previously anticipated or he did either. Because he was able to finish the previous game out in B.C., he had done something in that game but it seemed to be very minor and he was feeling okay about it and then he had a couple days off. And then when we went to practice in Saskatoon it just happened again.”
Sinopoli is dealing with a shoulder injury. He is enjoying his third-straight 1,000-yard receiving season in red and black. The 29-year-old has 3,694 yards and 12 touchdowns since switching from quarterback to receiver.
It’s the third game Sinopoli has missed in three seasons in the nation’s capital.
