1. Brandon Bridge, quarterback, Saskatchewan Roughriders

The 25-year-old became the first Canadian quarterback to throw for three touchdowns in a game and record a win since Greg Vavra in 1984. Bridge went 21-of-31 for 231 yards and three majors. He displayed the potential to become a bonified starter in the CFL.

2. Alex Singleton, linebacker, Calgary Stampeders

For three straight games, Singleton has made double-digit tackles (13, 11 and 11) which makes him the first player ever – regardless of nationality – to accomplish that feat. He’s got two sacks in that span too. Singleton leads the CFL in tackles with 91.

3. Matt Black, defensive back, Toronto Argonauts

On third and seven from the 10-yard line with less than two minutes to play, Black timed his blitz perfectly, screaming through for a big hit and sack on Mike Reilly to end Edmonton’s bid at a comeback. That sack secured the victory for Toronto.
