The Montreal Alouettes recently capped their season with a surprise Grey Cup victory over the Winnipeg Blue Bombers, earning the organization its first title in over a decade. The focus now shifts to next year when the club will look to win back-to-back championships as it did in 2009 and 2010.
All three of the team’s quarterbacks are under contract for 2024, including Grey Cup MVP Cody Fajardo. Other notable players who will be back next season include Kaion Julien-Grant, Tyson Philpot, Cole Spieker, Pier-Olivier Lestage, Almondo Sewell, Lwal Uguak, Reggie Stubblefield, Kabion Ento, and Marc-Antoine Dequoy.
Canadian fullback Jacob Mason, Global receiver Kevin Kaya, American offensive lineman Josh Donovan, Canadian linebacker Myles Manalo, American linebacker Chris Moore, American defensive back Kenneth Durden, and Global specialists Rhys Byrns and Jose Maltos all finished the season on the practice roster. As such, they are all currently free agents.
