Saskatchewan Roughriders extend All-CFL guard Jacob Brammer

The Saskatchewan Roughriders have signed American offensive lineman Jacob Brammer to a one-year contract extension. He was a pending free agent.

The 26-year-old native of Richmond, Texas joined the Roughriders in 2024, playing five regular-season games as a CFL rookie.

Brammer finished his collegiate career at Vanderbilt University in 2022 when he made 11 starts at right tackle. He was previously named All-Conference during a five-year stint at the University of North Texas.

The Saskatchewan Roughriders finished first in the West Division standings in 2025 with a 12-6 record, finishing first in the West Division for the first time since 2019. Trevor Harris went 11-5 as a starter, throwing for 4,549 yards, 24 touchdowns, and 11 interceptions.

Ouellette with 1,222 yards, leading receiver was KeeSean Johnson with 1,159 yards, and leading tackler was A.J. Allen with 91 tackles.
