The Calgary Stampeders have signed American running back Kay’Ron Lynch-Adams, defensive lineman Tre’Mon Morris-Brash, and defensive back Kam Alexander.
Lynch-Adams played collegiately at Michigan State in 2024, rushing for 649 yards, catching 15 passes or 85 yards, and scoring two touchdowns. The five-foot-ten, 215-pound ball-carrier previously played at Massachusetts where he rushed for 1,568 yards, caught 29 passes for 168 yards, and scored 14 times.
The 25-year-old native of Warren, Ohio attended training camp with the Carolina Panthers after going unselected in the 2025 NFL Draft, though he was released at the conclusion of the preseason.
Morris-Brash was a collegiate standout at the University of Central Florida, where he made 182 total tackles, 26 sacks, and one interceptions over 61 games. He was named first-team All-Big 12 in 2023 and first-team All-AAC in 2022.
The six-foot-two, 245-pound native of Richmond, Va. went unselected in the 2024 NFL Draft and spent the year on the practice roster with the Los Angeles Chargers. He was waived at the conclusion of training camp in 2025.
Alexander split training camp with the Seattle Seahawks and Pittsburgh Steelers in 2025, though he didn’t make either team’s final roster.
The five-foot-eleven, 183-pound native of New Iberia, La. finished his collegiate career at the University of Oregon in 2024, though made only four tackles and one interception over 11 games. His best collegiate season came in 2023 at the University of Texas at San Antonio, where he made 34 tackles, two tackles for loss, 17 passes defended, one sack, and two interceptions over 13 games to be named first-team All-AAC.
Alexander started his collegiate career at Sam Houston State, where he made 52 tackles, six tackles for loss, three interceptions, one forced fumble, one fumble recovery, and one blocked kick.
The Calgary Stampeders finished third in the West Division standings in 2025 with an 11-7 record but lost the West Semi-Final to the B.C. Lions. Vernon Adams Jr. threw for 4,247 yards, 21 touchdowns, and 14 interceptions over 17 regular-season starts, posting a 11-6 record as the team’s starting quarterback.
The Stampeders ranked fourth in net offence, seventh in net defence, and second with a turnover differential of plus-nine. Dedrick Mills won the CFL’s rushing title with 1,409 yards, while the team’s leading receiver was Dominique Rhymes with 886 yards, and leading tackler was Jacob Roberts with 102 tackles. Calgary finished fifth in attendance with average crowds of 22,295, which was a 3.5 percent increase from the previous year.
